Response to February Blog

In a Times Article online, the author talks about how the city of Los Angeles boycotts the state of Arizona due to it's new law with immigration status. Arizona's new law encourages racial profiling and is unconstitutional. The law is to be effective by this summer of 2010. It is going to require police enforcing another law to question a person about his or her immigration status if there is "reasonable suspicion" that the person is in the United States illegally and makes it a state crime to be in the country illegally. Although, there is strong popular support for the Arizona law. And not just the city of Los Angeles. but many other cities all over the country espicially California have passed resolutions or urged boycotts to protest the law and keep it from going through.
